Sliced green apples
Prepare the apples.
Add sugar and a splash of lemon juice. Parboil until slices are soft.
Just a touch of nutmeg.
Crumble blue cheese.
Blind bake a small piece of pie dough.
Add crumbled blue cheese.
Layer cheese, nuts and cooked apple slices, bake to melt cheese.
Serve warm in the tart pan with a sprinkle of Parm.
Apples, blue cheese and walnuts are an amazing combination. Here they have been combined in small, individual tart pans. Just layer, bake and serve. The perfect dessert for people who don’t really enjoy sweets.
