What you need.
Cherry Jam with Cinnamon, Clove and Nutmeg
Brie, and jam on the bottom dough.
Place brie in dough, and add more jam to the top.
Wrap with the other piece of dough.
Cut some circles.
Score a circle.
Use the die to cut a "leaf".
Score the leaves.
Lay out your design.
Paint the top with an egg yolk and water mixture.
Attach your design.
Bake in a hot oven for about 12 minutes and the cheese should ooze when cut.
Baked Brie is a crowd pleaser, and incredibly simple to make. At its most pure you can simply wrap some (croissant) dough and bake.
Here I opted to make it a more dessert like offering by adding a cherry pie like mixture. As well I went to the trouble of adding decoration. As you can see, you want to make sure that the dough doesn’t split and ruin your hard work.
Tip: Camembert cheese works as well and is a milder alternative.
